Second week

Life can survive just about anywhere, even in areas of the ocean where light never shines. This section of marine life survives solely on thermal rifts that emanate from the earth's core. The magma is heated by the core and then rises through the mantle, as it cools off it spreads out from the rift. Then it goes back down to the core, where the process starts all over again. This process is what causes continents to shift.
